Whilst in NYC this past weekend I saw “Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo”, starring Robin Williams.
What an amazing show. I’ve spent plenty of nights in the New York theatre, but this show was a true feat in the form of playwriting. The performances were terrific, and I’m a sucker for small cast plays with epic monologues, but nothing here seemed to be done for a cost or flare, just great storytelling for great storytelling’s sake.
If you’re going to be in the area before the closing, I implore you to check it out. Besides, Book of Mormon is sold out through August anyway, so what else are you going to do?
